Ok, so I have REALLY been slacking. Things have been kinda crazy here. I am getting ready for Dave to come home, but we still don't have a date. I feel like I have just been going, going, going for the last couple weeks. And next week I have some thing to do everyday, so it's going to be crazy too. I can't wait until Dave gets home and we don't go anywhere for a while. I just want to be able to stay home and enjoy my family. My kids are growing so much and so fast. I just know Dave is going to have so much fun with them. Andrew will probably follow him every where for the fist couple day. Laynie did the same thing the first time deployed. And Norah, well she has changed so much since Dave left. When he left she wasn't doing anything. She was just so small, and just slept all the time. Now she is crawling and pulling herself up, and getting into everything. She has 6 teeth and has 2 more coming in. She is anything but small now. Ok well, I have a ton more to write, but it is going to have to be another night. The kids are in bed and all I want to do now is sit back and relax. It doesn't happen too often so I have to take advantage of it when I do get the chance.

I just can't believe how big they are getting. It seems as thou Norah was just born, and now she is going on 8 months. Where does the time go? And Andrew is growing so much too, i think he has just had a growth spurt, because when i was getting him dressed today his new pants were short on him. And he has been eating like it's going out of style. I wish they would all just stop, stop growing, and stop learning new things. They are all getting so independent! I had to go get my taxes done today, and had to take Andrew and Norah with me. They both did SO good, i was really worried that they would be awful, but to my surprise they were very good. I kept Norah in the stroller and Andrew wanted to sit on my lap. So he just there the whole time drawing on a piece of paper. Towards the end Andrew was wanting to get up and check things out, but I just told him that if he didn't sit down then we were going to have to go home. And he told me "I not naughty" and then he sat down again. I just can't believe how good they were. Maybe i can start going more places with them. I keep thinking some day it will happen. And maybe today is that day. I sure hope so!

My mom came to visit last month, and I took this picture of her and Norah. I just think it is so cute and wanted to share it with everyone!

life with us right now!

Well Dave has left me for 6 months, to go on vacation to Qatar. Well he doesn't think it's a vacation, but compared to what i do all day, every day, it defiantly is. I am here taking care of the kids, doing the laundry, making the meals, cleaning up after the meals, etc... But I do have to say that I am so proud of my husband, for what he does for our country and our family. It is not easy for him to be away form us for so long, but when duty calls you just have to deal with it. The time has been going by fast so far, he will be home in July. The kids and I miss him so much, Laynie is really the only one that understands some what of what is going on. She knows that he had to go away for work and she knows that he will come home, but not for a long time. But Andrew and Norah on the other hand. They are both too little to understand. Andrew talks to his daddy on the phone quite a bit, and i think that really helps him. And he sees pictures threw out the house and is sure to point out his dad in every one. But every time we go to base and he see a man in his uniform, he thinks he's his dad. I don't know how many time i have had to explain to random strangers that his dad is deployed and he thinks anyone that wears the same uniform is him. And Norah, well she is just too small. She has no idea what is going on. As long as she gets picked up and feed she will be fine. She doesn't care who picks her up most of the time as long as she is being held. And as me me, I can't wait for my husband to come home. To just talk to someone about other things then Mickey Mouse, or Tigger and Pooh will be so nice. I miss all the little things that most people don't really think they will miss. Like having to watch football on Sunday nights, and giving up my TV to the PlayStation. I have learned not to take things like that for granted anymore. OK well that is enough about that.
